Usually from October to April for any level of surfer. However some of our beginner beaches are generating swell for your first try at surfing (Level Zero & Level One) all year round.

HOW CAN I BOOK OR CHECK AVAILABILITY?
To book a surf course or to check availability the best thing to do is contact us via our website. We are open any day of the week, and you will normally receive a reply within 12 hours.

CAN A NON SURFER COME TOO?
Your wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend/child is very welcome to come along as a non surfing partner although and a discount is available too. Non surfers can still enjoy all the other aspects of the package like massages, city tour, river paddling mission etc. If they prefer they can simply relax, unwind and enjoy the pool, beach, jungle and delicious food. CAN KIDS COME? IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
Surfing is a fantastic family holiday activity and having kids for your surf lessons is always a lot of fun. We do have an age limit for surfing guests though; they need to be a minimum of 8 years old and accompanied by at least one participating adult.

WILL I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?
We highly recommend that all of our guests purchase adequate medical and travel insurance travel before going anywhere on holiday. Also make sure that it covers Adventure sports such as surfing.

HOW DO I GET TO SOUTH? DO YOU PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT?
We will happily arrange for a private driver to met you at the airport if necessary. If you are coming using a different method we’ll do our best to make it as easy as possible. Our logistic line is always open at +94 77 102 5527.

HOW ARE THE WAVES BETWEEN OCTOBER AND MAY?
The reason to operate between October and May is because of the consistency of the surf as well as its favourable weather and winds. It rarely gets big and it rarely gets flat. There is always soft, friendly white water on the inside for building confidence on specific board skills and typically smooth, unbroken waves each morning, perfect for more experienced guests and level 2-3 surfers wishing to challenge themselves.

WHAT IS THE INSTRUCTOR TO STUDENT RATIO FOR SURFING LESSONS?
Simply put, we stick to an upper limit of 1 : 3 Instructor to Students ratio. Also it’s important to note that we do not mix ability levels, therefore you will feel more comfortable with your instructions.

WILL I GET TO KEEP MY ALL MY SURF PHOTOS & VIDEO FOOTAGE?
Yes, of course, as we believe it’s your right to have them. We will dropbox you the images and videos once they are processed, usually before 30 days after your departure. This comes absolutely FREE of charge.

IS THERE ANYTHING SPECIFIC I NEED TO BRING FOR SURFING?
It’s nice and warm in Sri Lanka so all you’ll need is a rashie and pair of boardshorts. We will provide you with a Rashie if you don’t have your own. Don’t forget sunscreen too! It can be difficult to find these items locally, especially 40+.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN BOARD?
Beginner surfing equipemt is included in the packages. However if you’re a level 3 or 4 surfer accustomed to riding a particular size or shape board you can contact us for more on getting your equipment here.

DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SWIM?
This is not a must, but an advantage to feel confident in the water, and maximise your progress and enjoyment.
